1. SELF-ASSESSMENT<\/h3>
Each municipality self-assesses itself using the CoE benchmark<\/strong> (72 indicators under 12 principles).<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>

2. SURVEYS<\/h3>
Each municipality conducts surveys of citizens, their elected officials and municipal workers<\/strong>, in order to cross-check the information from the self-assessment.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>

3. PEER COMPARISON<\/h3>
If the edition requires it, we organise and dynamise a session with the participating municipalities<\/strong> so that they can compare themselves with each other, refine their answers and look for homogeneous criteria.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div>

4. RESULTS<\/h3>
We analyse the results<\/strong> of self-assessments and surveys, and prepare individual, confidential reports, including key participation data, as well as an improvement plan to enable participating governments to continue working towards excellence in governance.<\/div><\/div> <\/div><\/div><\/div>
